Art Exhibitions
and of Sanitary History

We believe that art is a unique medium for conveying messages, and for cultivating and developing a deeper intuitive understanding. That is why, at our Museum, we organise artistic exhibitions related to water and the environment.

IRREVERSIBLE
Artist: Pablo Butteri | Curatorship: María Carolina Bauloa

The exhibition presents a natural landscape devastated by fire. The smoke, the desolation, and the remnants left in the wake of humanity’s negative impact confront us with a violated, scourged nature. The artist began in 2019 and continues to the present day with a series inspired by the Amazon rainforest fires and their subsequent replication in Córdoba, Argentina. The title of this exhibition defines a bleak conclusion—with no margin for recovery or recourse—for both nature and humanity.

MAYDAY
Aldana Ferreyra | Curatorship: María Carolina Baulo

In the immersive exhibition MAYDAY, the artist recreates a portion of the seabed—a place undoubtedly overwhelming in its beauty, immensity, and richness. The installation invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a “walk-through” aquatic space, where the monumentality of the piece unfolds: a life-sized representation, across various media and materials, of part of the flora and fauna inhabiting the seas.

MAYDAY is a distress call, an emergency requiring imminent assistance.
