On March 10, a public-private delegation from the German State of Bavaria visited the facilities of the North Wastewater Treatment Plant (San Fernando) where each of the stages of the sanitation process were analyzed, followed by a presentation at the Plant's main office.

The agenda of the delegation was aimed at allowing the German experts to learn about the regional technological status in the environmental field: water, wastewater and waste management, and also in the energy field: bioeconomy and circular economy.

In this way, they seek to identify areas of common interest between Argentina and Germany to develop joint projects and address them from an innovation perspective, both for applied research and for entrepreneurs based on science and technology.

The delegation of 23 Bavarian participants was led by Georg Schmidt, Head of the Department of Strategic International Economic Relations, Localization Policy and Investments in Bavaria. Ulrike Hoffmann, Regional Director for Latin America, also participated and had representatives from Siemens, Fraunhofer, the University of Augsburg, among other internationally renowned organizations.

The visitors highlighted the professional quality of AySA's team and the efficiency of the processes, showing interest in generating cooperation agreements with the company.

In this way, AySA continues to open its arms to the international community, understanding cooperation as an instrument to improve competitiveness with a sustainable approach to water challenges.
